After a morning trail run in Malibu, we decided to take a slight detour on our way home to visit our favorite India restaurant, East India Grill. Lunch started with a papadum, a thin, crispy appetizer. Then we feasted on our meal of potato and green pea samosas, garlic naan, tandoori fish tikka and eggplant bharta. The latter two entrees were served with rice, lentils, raita and a salad. The meal ended perfectly with complimentary rice pudding.
