In preparation for the following morning’s California International Marathon, we chose to dine at Il Fornaio in Sacramento. This seemed like a popular choice for the carb-loading crowd as there was a two-hour wait for tables for those without reservations (which we, thankfully, had made a week prior). We enjoyed a meal consisting of a margherita pizza, capellini al pomodoro, and mushroom tagliatelle.
