We’d heard good things about the local, trendy Japanese restaurant Robata Jinya on Third Street and made reservations to head over there on Saturday night with Nicole and Stephen. After waiting 20 minutes for our table, we had a fun meal that included tofu made at our table, shrimp toast, and salmon crab chips. The one thing about us and Japanese food is that we like to take our time and eat in courses – many courses. Unfortunately after being at the table for about an hour and a half, the manager rudely kicked us out to make room for a larger party. It was definitely the worst service we have experienced in Los Angeles. The food was not good enough to make up for the poor service and we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
