Jen bought a 20 pound watermelon. After a week, we had barely put a dent in it so we decided to make a granita.

Watermelon Granita

watermelon (lots)
limes
sugar

Fill blender with watermelon. Add juice of 1 1/2 limes and 3 tbs of sugar (or to taste). Blend until smooth. Strain mixture into a large casserole dish. Repeat until dish is almost full (we did 4 batches).

Place dish in freezer. After an hour, remove dish and rake mixture with a fork. Repeat until mixture is frozen.
