After an anniversary breakfast of crepes, we headed to Froma, an Italian cafe-delicatessen, for lunch.

We ordered the Soup du Jour (Minestrone), 1/2 Palermo Panini (burrata, sun-dried tomato chuntney, argula) and an Al Granchlo Panini (blue crab meat, aruguala, herb remoulade) with an Orangina and Galvanina to share. After eating, we also picked up some olive oil and amaretti cookies.

Froma was definitely a great find. Simple food made with great ingredients. Just enough “fancy” for a Sunday afternoon.

After a stroll down Melrose and a moment of relaxation at home, we headed off to our dinner celebration at Palate.
