Moles La Tia

We came across an LA Times review for a mole restaurant in East Los Angeles and ventured out for a Sunday lunch.

It’s a cozy restaurant with colorful decor. Chili plants decorate the center of every table. The menu has a wide selection of moles, making the decision of “what’s for lunch” a difficult one. We started out with drinks: horchata and cucumber lime agua fresca. The best horchata we’ve had…and the presentation was beautiful. Food was delicious: shrimp coffee mole and halibut white chocolate mole. Seriously though, the drinks were good. We’d go back there just for that.
